President of the Republic, Ilir Meta has called in an online conversation government representative, rectors and professors of Public Universities in the country.
In a message on “Facebook”, the Head of State states that the focus of this conversation has been the many difficulties and problems that students are facing during the learning process in pandemic conditions.
According to the President, it is important to guarantee students the development of teaching and laboratory practices, to increase the necessary investments in technology and equipment and to create all the conditions for them to have full access to the Internet.
“I am familiar, from my periodic meetings with students, with the many difficulties and problems encountered during the teaching process in pandemic conditions. I called for an online conversation with representatives of the Government, rectors and professors of Public Universities in the country.
It is very important to guarantee students the development of teaching and laboratory practices, to increase the necessary investments in technology and equipment and to create all the conditions for them to have full access to the internet, at low fees, during this difficult period.
The decision to accept the request of students and rectors to take the exams in the auditorium and to extend the exam season is welcomed”, writes Meta./abcnews.al
