This morning President Meta’s spokesman, Tedi Blushi through a status on social media has announced that President Ilir Meta will deliver a speech from the presidency where he will talk about adopting changes of the law on the Constitutional Court.
“Dear colleagues, journalists!
I have received many questions from you concerning the law approved by the Parliament yesterday evening, whether or not it is in violation of the Constitution.
It is strange that just hours before the meetings of the Venice Commission in Tirana, this law was approved.
It is strange for us even the fact that sometimes the Assembly approve a law that respects the Constitution.
But this morning we are focused on meeting with representatives of the Venice Commission.
As I promise in the afternoon that the President will deliver a speech with you directly from the Presidency, and with all Albanians, for the true purpose of the law”, writes Blushi./abcnews.al
