The Economic Crime Police have destroyed a criminal group that was engaged in the criminal activity of fraud, and around 142,000 euros were seized. It became possible to catch and arrest in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense “Fraud”, committed in cooperation, more than once, of citizens:
-Erjon Lika, 41 years old, resident in Tirana, Edmir Jaçe., 32 years old and Gazmir Ismailaj., 39 years old, both living in Vlora.
All three of these citizens, following information from investigative structures, were caught in the act, in Kamez, during the attempt to benefit through fraud, the amount of 13,000 euros, from the administrator of a private entity.
From the entirety of the investigative actions, it has emerged that on January 7, 2023, these citizens had benefited, even through fraud, in the amount of 12,000 euros.
During the police operation coded “Subject”, 10,100 euros, 50,000 new lek, 2 vehicles used to carry out this criminal activity, transaction receipts, 6 mobile phones and other items were found and seized as material evidence.
Following the actions, for this case, a search notice was issued for citizens I.K. and F.Gj., accomplices of the 3 arrested citizens. Work continues on locating and capturing them.
