Investigations are closed for 4 people who tried to traffic 1 ton of cannabis by ship to Italy. SPAK has charged Gregor Likaj, Arber Saraseli, Saverjo Imeraj and Qemal Pekmezi with the charge of international drug trafficking and organized criminal group.
The narcotics were loaded by speedboats by Albanian citizens on the open sea in a sailing ship run by two Ukrainian citizens.
During the coded police operation “The Eye”, citizens Arber Saraseli, Saverjo Imeraj and Qemal Pekmezi were arrested by the Police of Vlora, and citizen Gregor Lika was declared wanted.
The exchange of traffickers’ goods was done in the limits of the passage of the water space between Albania and Italy./abcnews.al
