Prime Minister Edi Rama has underlined this Tuesday that the salaries of the Albanian Armed Forces’s personnel will increase towards the NATO average.
In a social networks statement, the head of the government writes that the salaries of the army were a reason to feel bad, but now Albania will not be the last in the region.
“Salaries of the Albanian Army were for a long time a reason to feel bad for the troops of the Armed Forces, but we had no other way but to move forward with persistence and endure the necessary changes, without which the salaries will not they could grow as they should and as we all wanted.
Now the conditions have changed a lot and our soldiers are no longer the last in the region for the level of their salaries, on the contrary, they have salaries among the highest which we will continue to increase towards the NATO average”, stated the Premier.
