Prime Minister Edi Rama has spoken this Thursday about the work that the Socialist Party (SP) is doing ahead of the May 14 local elections, stressing that during the Steering Committee’s meeting, the focus was on the names of candidates and councilors and the election campaign, according to different areas.
In front of the reporters, the head of government declared that reforms would continue, mainly in raising salaries in some sectors of the economy. According to him, Albania’s economy will be strengthened and will become more competitive in many respects with this approach.
“The candidate registration and the list of councilors were discussed. Beyond this aspect is the campaign program, the specifics of different areas and essential content in the national level”, stated the PM.
Furthermore, he spoke about the selection of the team for the May 14th elections.
“Where there was agreement and synchronization about the appointed candidates who are mayors are currently the process has continued. We are more or less in the general line we know who the team is”, said Rama.
