An anti-drug operation is being carried out by the Tirana police, the Anti-Drug sector, under the direction of the capital’s prosecutor’s office, to target drug dealers.
According to the local media, so far a total of 112 arrest warrants have been issued, while more than 70 people have been escorted and detained by the police.
Meanwhile, the arrested persons are divided into several groups, considering that drugs were distributed throughout Tirana, in the center of the capital, in the United School, in the former block, in Kamez, the area of new Tirana, Vorë, etc.
Eight of the people involved in this activity were arrested earlier in previous operations.
However, an official reaction from the police is expected for further details.
