Opposition has once again warned of chaos and blocking the work of the Assembly, while this Thursday it is expected that the 2024 budget will be approved, article by article and in its entirety.
Six opposition MPs will not be present at the session, as they were expelled for 10 days due to the chaos created in the session of December 4.
On Wednesday, Ethics Commission decided to expel Sali Berisha and five other MPs who supported him from the Assembly for ten days. Apart from Berisha, MPs Gazment Bardhi, Albana Vokshi, Edi Paloka, Elda Hoti and Flamur Noka, who caused chaos and ignited flames, were expelled.
It was the majority that addressed a request to the Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, for the expulsion of the MPs from the Pulpit who used flares in the Assembly hall.
According to the Socialist Party (SP), these behaviors are in serious violation of the Rules of the Assembly and the Code of Conduct of the Deputy in the Assembly of Albania.
