Democrat MP Ervin Salianji spoke this Friday after the failure of the Electoral Reform Commission meeting, stating that the majority does not want the reform and that they will buy votes to hold constitutional elections.

Speaking to the journalists, Salianji said that this is a hostage taking of the leaders who came out with DP votes and a mockery of the citizens.

“The MPs who took the co-chairmanship by force had confirmed their participation but boycotted it for 2 years in a row.

They do not want reform, they openly said how they will address the problems, they will try to buy votes to hold constitutional elections.

This is a mockery of the citizens and hostage-taking of the leaders who came out with DP votes. This is the regime we have”, stated Salianji.
