The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, has reacted regarding security in the country. Through a status on Facebook, Balla states that only during the last 24 hours, 30 citizens from different cities in the country have been arrested and prosecuted.
“30 citizens arrested/processed during the last 24 hours in Tirana, Durres, Fier, Lezhë, Shkoder, Vlore, Diber and Elbasan. 5 kilograms of cannabis narcotics, a quantity of cocaine, 3 firearms, combat ammunition and cold weapons were seized. I expect better results mainly in terms of preventing criminal events, clarifying those that happened before, illegal possession of weapons and the distribution of narcotics”, says Balla.
