One of the 6 arrested in the “Metamorphosis” operation, Astmer Bilali, has appealed the security measure “Arrest in prison” to the GJKKO Appeal.
Bilal wants a more lenient measure of security. He was arrested together with the prosecutor of Kukes, and the businessman Pëllumb Gjoka. Astmer Bilai is known as a member of the Bajra gang.
He has previous criminal records as the main suspect in the wounding of Hermes Beqiri. For the incident that happened in 2017, Asmer Bilali was arrested in the village of Grudë, where he left on his motorcycle to hide from the police.
