The names of 11 persons for whom a security measure was issued by order of SPAK are released. One of the most wanted is the emir of Ervin Mata, who is thought to be outside Albania. He is accused of being a structured criminal group, drug trafficking and carrying out actions by a criminal organization. Security measures have also been set for Ismail Zeneli, who, in addition to charges like Mata, is also accused of providing the conditions to commit murder. For the same accusations, a security measure has also been issued for Bujar Ajeti from Kukesi.
Meanwhile, Dedian Gjoni, the head of crimes in police station no. 6, from Lezha, is suspected of having provided the conditions to carry out a murder in cooperation with the criminal group.
The crime boss is also suspected of international drug trafficking and money laundering. While the former deputy director of Tirana police, Erzen Breçani is suspected of money laundering and supporting the perpetrator of the crime.
His son, Erald Breçani, is accused of drug trafficking and money laundering. Among the accused are Bujar Grabova, Besmir Murati, Artan Sulejmani, Albert Prenga and Bajram Grabova, suspected of cocaine trafficking.
According to the prosecutor’s investigation, the criminal group trafficked cocaine from Ecuador and Colombia to the countries of the European Union. Meanwhile, plans to kill opponents took place during 2019-2020 in Durres, Belgium and the Netherlands. In addition to the breakdown of drug trafficking deals, the reason for the plans for crimes was the clash and rivalry between Ervis Martinaj and Ervin Mata./abcnews.al
