The new public market of Farka is opened. The Minister of Agriculture, Frida Krifca, said during her speech that the new market is another safe step towards the development of agriculture.
The minister added that the market offers high food safety standards as well as provides cheaper prices for the consumer.
“This work has high local food safety standards and complies with EU standards, because food is displayed on surfaces that have inside refrigeration points that preserve food products. Moreover, if until today these foods and products were operated under the actual conditions of a monopoly, they now have the opportunity to be traded at very competitive prices.
We had to offer a model commercial area based on the European experience to build this new agricultural center to make the lives of our customers who live in the city better and cheaper but have claims that food products should be received according to EU standards,” said the minister.
