The lawsuit brought by the opposition for the mandate of MP Olta Xhaçka will be reviewed on Friday at the Constitutional Court. Journalist Erneta Shevroja reports that today there will be a re-examination regarding this issue.

“Today, there will be a re-examination in the Constitutional Court regarding the issue of the mandate of deputy Olta Xhaçka, after it has once reviewed her mandate and focused on the powers that the assembly has for such a request in relation to a parliamentary minority , who can file certain lawsuits.

The Constitutional Court, in the first response, requested that the assembly be the one that will have to bring the mandate for examination to examine the whole case in substance.

On April 11, the parliament voted for Xhaçka’s mandate and with a majority of SP votes it was decided not to take him to court and this decision-making the head of the DP parliamentary group Gazment Bardhi and 43 DP deputies filed another lawsuit in the Constitutional Court regarding the mandate of Olta Xhaçka,” the journalist reported.
