Fifth session of the 10th legislature in the Parliament of Albania will be launched this Monday morning, September 4, at 10:00. Resumption of the work of the Assembly comes with changes in the parliamentary groups.
Socialist Party (SP) will have a new leader, while the Democratic Party (DP) will continue with its mergers and divisions and this time it will go to the Assembly with 3 different groups.
After the changes in the statute, the official DP now has Lulzim Basha as the chairman of the parliamentary group, a post previously held by Gazmend Bardhi. Bardhi has stated that he does not recognize and does not accept the statutory changes of Basha.
Furthermore, a number of bills carried over from the previous session will take their time in the coming weeks.
