“The U.S. Navy Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 5, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush, conducted inland training in Albania recently.
The rare training experience in Bizë, Albania, provided the helicopter squadron with the opportunity to conduct mountain flying, low-level tactical flying, off-airport landing, and multi-unit coordinated exercises.
Cooperation between the U.S. Navy and Albania allowed units from both nations to train and build capability together as NATO Allies. We look forward to more joint military training exercises during Defender Europe 2023”.
