NATO congratulates Albania on their Independence Day

The North Atlantic Alliance, NATO has congratulated Albania on Independence Day. NATO has chosen a photo of the Albanian army and our national flag to congratulate this marked day, while inviting everyone to join in the congratulations.

“Join us to celebrate with our ally Albania, on their Independence Day!” writes NATO.

Albania today celebrates the 110th anniversary of the declaration of independence. On November 28, 1912, Ismail Qemali raised the flag in Vlora, declaring Albania a sovereign and independent state.
