One person has been arrested and another was declared wanted in Gjirokastra after the finalization of the operation codenamed “Transporter”. It is known that M.G., 29 years old, resident in Gjirokastra, was arrested.
The young man was arrested on the road axis Kakavije-Gjirokastra. During the control exercised in his vehicle type “Toyota Yaris” 27.6 kg of cannabis sativa were found.
His accomplice, K. M., 28, has been declared wanted. Police seized the narcotics and three mobile phones.
The materials in charge of the above citizens were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance Gjirokastra, for the criminal offense “Production and sale of narcotics” committed in collaboration.
