Today, Rozeta Dobi and her son Javier will appear before the court to familiarize themselves with the security measure, after their arrest for the theft of thousands of euros in the apartments where the 49-year-old worked as a cleaner. Both of these people are accused of having stolen a total of about 500 thousand euros.
Javier Dobi advertised his luxury life on social networks, showing cash, cars, gold pendants and expensive clothes, but in his friendly circle he said that he had rented the cars.
Meanwhile, the investigation into the theft of 120,000 Euros in the house of the former chief of staff of the minister Arben Ahmetaj, Alda Klosi, has taken another turn.
In addition to the police investigations, the Prosecutor’s Office of Tirana has also been involved in the origin of the money found in the house of her cleaner, Rozeta Dobi, and her son, Javier.
The latter is conducting verifications regarding the source of the former official’s income.
Suspicions were raised after another amount of money was found this Sunday in the mother and son’s apartment. The blues of the capital returned for control after the information received and found 404,800 Euros, 8,500 Dollars and gold accessories in the suction pipe.
The police have not yet discovered whether this money was also stolen from the apartment of Alda Klos, or from other houses where Rozeta Dobi had worked as a cleaner. The story started after the denunciation made on December 15 by Alda Klosi for the theft of the apartment. The 2 arrestees were kept under surveillance and it was discovered that they had entered the apartment through a duplicate key.
They had created a mess in the apartment in order to make the theft look like a robbery, however the evidence administered by the police has led to their identification. The police also seized 3 vehicles that were allegedly bought with the stolen money. In front of the investigators, the 2 arrested have admitted the crime.
