Meta: The government has failed with the energy situation

The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, said during the National Convention that the government has failed to manage the electricity situation, leading us to the current circumstances.

“We live in times of multiple economic, social, energy, food and inflationary crises that are impoverishing Albanians more and more every day.

Citizens have already understood that this government is the problem and not the solution to this crisis.

We remember that during the pandemic, tens of thousands of citizens lost their jobs and thousands of businesses went bankrupt.

While other governments supported their economies, citizens and businesses with almost 10% of the Gross Domestic Product, Rilindja made do with handouts that in total did not even reach 1% of GDP.

“The energy crisis is a crisis of corruption and mafia administration from the Renaissance of the electricity system,” said Meta.

Meanwhile, the head of Party of Freedom also focused on supporting investors in this sector by removing all the administrative and corrupt obstacles of the current regime.
