Chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta appeared this Wednesday at the doors of the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organized Crime.
Asked by journalists what he was summoned, Meta briefly said that he was summoned for a “telenovela that has been tried a couple of times”, referring to the CEZ-DIA affair.
Meanwhile, the Head of Freedom Party said that the case was reopened by a false accuser, who was convicted of domestic violence and defamation.
“For the soap opera CEZ-DIA… since you were notified early and you are coping with the rain. It is a soap opera that has been judged a couple of times. It was reopened for the specific case in December 2019 by a false accuser who was convicted twice for defamation and was convicted once again by the court for domestic violence. Thank you”, said Meta.
