“The Freedom Party is patriotic that will ignite hope.” This is what Ilir Meta declared, one day after taking the leadership of the new party, as LSI changed its name.
Asked by journalists at the press conference if the Freedom Party is left or right, Meta did not reveal a clear ideology of the new political entity, but emphasized that it is patriotic and inclusive.
“The Freedom Party is freedom. Is sovereignty left or right? It is comprehensive. Here we are at a moment where we are not dealing with left or right. PS is left? The Freedom Party is patriotic and will ignite hope,” declared Meta.
Asked if he will participate in the next local elections, Meta said that he will not boycott any kind of process, not only the election.
