A mega-operation has been developed in Malesia e Madhe where 27 greenhouses were discovered in which about 8,000 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seedlings were grown in cubes.
A 52-year-old man with initials N.D, suspected of being the organizer of this criminal activity, was arrested in the operation.
“As a result of this mega-operation, 20 meters deep in this crater, 27 greenhouses were identified, inside which were found cultivated in cubes, about 8,000 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seedlings, in the process of being cultivated in the ground”, informed the police.
Furthermore, the police prosecuted on his own recognizance citizens Gj. Gj., 61 years old, with the position of Director of the Forestry Service in Malësi e Madhe municipality; R. Gj., 41 years old, with the duty of water supply specialist in the municipality of Malësi e Madhe (which covers the area where the narcotic seedlings were found) and A. H., 36 years old, with the duty of plumber of the Waterworks in the municipality of Malësi e Madhe (which covers the area where the narcotic seedlings were found).
Meanwhile, during the search in the residence of citizen N. D., the Police found and seized as material evidence 3 shotguns, a quantity of cartridges for shotguns and 5 cold weapons (knives), which this citizen was carrying without a permit.
