Democrat MP Gazment Bardhi refused this Thursday the interpellation with Minister Elisa Spiropali, requesting the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama for the case of former FBI official, Charles McGonigal.
In his speech, Bardhi said that he requested an interview with the head of the government and not with his shadow, referring to Spiropali.
On her part, Spiropali, delegated for this issue, responded by saying that they are not allowing them to give an explanation and why they requested this.
“I don’t understand why you are so afraid. Bardhi, are you looking for clarification on the matter so that it is fully clarified. Rest assured that we have the patience to put up with it. I’m telling you your desperate rush to jump to conclusions is ridiculous to say the least. As grata as non grata, you have two weeks scratching the nerves of the Albanian nation.
You don’t allow us to explain this matter once and for all. I understand your despair that even the drowned man is holding on to his hair and crossing a canal, but you want to cross the ocean and that is impossible”, said Spiropali during her speech in the Assembly.
