Gjoleke Pazaj, 67 years old, jas been arrested this Thursday in Fier with the aim of his extradition to Spain, after he was declared an international wanted for drug trafficking, participation in a criminal organization, illegal possession of weapons and theft of electricity.
Police announced that the 67-year-old, in collaboration with other citizens, adapted closed spaces, in different cities of Spain, for the cultivation of narcotic plants, by means of lamps. On February 18, the Fier Police, as part of the “Member” operation, arrested the citizen Xh. A., member of the same criminal group.
Meanwhile, Interpol Tirana is conducting procedures for the extradition of this citizen.
“Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section and the services of the Operational Sector of DVP Fier, based on the information provided by the information intelligence, on the location of an internationally wanted citizen, have organized and finalized the second phase of the police operation coded “Member” .
Within this phase, as a result of the exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, the citizen: Gj. P., 67 years old, resident of Fier.
This citizen was declared an international wanted, after the Spanish judicial authorities have assigned him the security measure “Arrest in prison”, for the criminal offenses: “Trafficking in narcotics”, “Cultivation of narcotic plants”, “Criminal organization”, “Carrying weapons without a permit ” and “Theft of electricity”, provided by the criminal legislation of Spain”, said the police.
