Albanian Road Authority (ARA) has made a summary of the situation on the road axes, due to the bad weather that has affected the country during recent days.
ARA informed that in Kalimash-Fushë Arrëz is still working on cleaning the road, just like in Elbasan-Peqin, Berat-Çorovodë, Peshkopi-Qafë Drajë, Sarandë-Borsh where temporary traffic signs have been installed.
“During the night and in the first hours of the morning, there was rainfall that brought rocks and materials on the road. Maintenance companies have been on the ground and have made it possible to clean the road, as in Kalimash-Fushë Arrëz where work is still being done to clean the road, Elbasan-Peqin, Berat-Çorovodë, Peshkopi-Qafë Drajë km 30.5, Sarandë-Borsh where provisional traffic signs are installed.
There are no problems with the circulation of vehicles on all national axes. Heavy rains in recent days have brought problems mainly in Shkodra, Durres, Lezha and Vlora. The rain has brought floods in many areas of Bulqiza, while as a result of bad weather there have been massive collapses of roads in Lezha.
