Dense fog and frost have engulfed this Tuesday the national and rural roads of Kukes, which pose a great risk to vehicles. Reason for this situation is extremely low temperatures and the cessation of snowfall.
Even the city of Kukës has been covered by dense fog this morning, creating traffic difficulties. The fog also covered the “Nation Road”, a part of which had a high density of fog, making it difficult for vehicles to move.
From Fushë Dukagjini to the Kalimashi Tunnel, the density of the fog is high. In such cases, drivers are advised to reduce speed, as well as to respect traffic rules due to the limitation of the field of view to 30-40 meters.
Often the phenomenon of dense fog becomes a source of accidents, but so far there have been no reports of accidents.
Meanwhile, the fog has also covered the surface of the lake of Fierza.
