Kim: US support in the fight against impunity for corrupt officials

US Ambassador Yuri Kim reacted after the report of the US State Department on human rights.

In her response, Kim said the United States would support democracy and justice reform, adding that human rights should include an independent judiciary free from political pressure, intimidation or corruption.

According to Kim, the US strongly supports justice reform to end impunity, accountability of corrupt officials and organized crime, and strengthening the rule of law in Albania.
