A 40-year-old Dorjan Keqi, arrested about 1 year ago as an accomplice in the murder of the former director of the Transmission System Operator in Electric Energy for the North, Saimir Jaku, will face in court the charge of “Murder in other qualifying circumstances “, carried out in cooperation with “Production and possession without permission of military weapons and ammunition”.

Lezha Prosecutor’s Office has closed the investigations related to the crime that occurred on September 9, 2016 in a bar in Rrëshen, and the criminal file with the 40-year-old defendant from Kruja has gone to trial.

Dorjan Keqi was detained for driving while intoxicated after taking the alcohol test.

While he was waiting for the court’s decision on the security measure, he was also arrested after the answers to the fingerprints of the 40-year-old from Kruja were filed.

These prints were found in a gasoline can found near the place where the burned vehicle that was used in the murder of the director of OST was found.

He denied the accusations, but did not explain how his fingerprints were present on the gasoline can.
