Two new fire engines were added to the new fire station in Kinostudio, as a help from the Embassy of Japan in Tirana.
Mayor Erion Veliaj said that the new equipement will greatly serve the Unit 4 Fire Station, as it also covers the suburban and rural areas of the city.
The Ambassador of Japan, Takada Mitsuyuki, thanked the head of the Municipality for the support that Tirana has given to Japanese activities throughout this time.
“The president is a strong supporter of our activities in Albania. I am much honored that today we provide you with two fire engines.
This is the first time we bring such tools directly from Japan to Albania. We are committed to continuing to support firefighters and the standard of living in your municipality and other municipalities in Albania. Thank you very much, chairman, for accepting our support”, he said.
