The Special Prosecutor’s Office has closed the investigation into the drug laboratory that was discovered a year ago in the village of Frakull in Fier. It is expected that SPAK will turn to the court with the request for the trial of the file in charge of Viktor Çervanaku, his brother Zenel Çervanaku, his son, Denilson Çervanaku and the fiancee of the latter Enxhi Ferhati, as well as citizens Nikolin Gjolena who is suspected of the leader of the group, Klajdi Vrioni, Julian Malaj, Redion Meshi, Bledar Matoshi and Marildo Rona.
It is learned that the investigations within this criminal proceeding have provided clues to other persons involved in the criminal activity and the proceeding has been separated to reveal their role in this activity.
Last December, about 600 bags of chemical fertilizer were found in the yard of Viktor Cervanak’s apartment, which, after the expertise, turned out to contain about 485.5 kg of cocaine coming from Colombia.
The drug was discovered by a SPAK operation in cooperation with the DEA and the Montenegrin police. The drug came from Colombia, while in Albania it was processed for the European market.
