Elbasan Prosecutor’s Office has filed charges against Indri Shaqjas, the person who was injured by the shooting in Peqin prison. He is suspected of collaborating with Sokol Mjacaj for the murder of Arben Lleshi.
According to the prosecution, his involvement in this event is being verified after a cell phone was found in prison. Authorities have checked again the place where the victim was killed, which coincides with the room of the convicted Indri Shaqja.
Mobile phone that was found in a wooden box after a detailed inspection of the items in the room, and that belongs to Shaqja, has been seized by the authorities as material evidence.
During the questioning, he admitted the ownership of the mobile phone and under these circumstances, he was arrested by the judicial police of SHKBB.
In the testimony released a day ago, Shaqja said that he had received two handwritten letters to commit the murder of Arben Lleshi.
“We will pay you 200,000 euros, we will also provide the poison for you to kill Arben Lleshi. If you agree, send us an answer by letter”, said Shaqja. So, a day ago, 11 of the 12 officials of the high security prison in Peqin were left in prison indefinitely by the Court of Elbasan.
