The Minister of Finance and Economy Delina Ibrahimaj said in the Assembly that with the 700 million euros that Albania is expected to receive from the Eurobond, the public debt is expected to go to 80% of GDP.
“The instrument is expected to have a size of 700 million Euros and with a maturity of 7 to 10 years depending on the conditions.
Debt is expected to continue to grow at the end of 2021, reaching 80% of GDP affected by the Eurobond, but also the disbursement of some budget support that is in process.
According to the draft framework, the level of debt will return to decline starting from 2022 and reaching 74.9% at the end of 2025 “said the minister./abcnews.al
