The State Commissioner of Elections, Ilirjan Celibashi, has shown how the format of the ballot for the local elections of May 14 will be.
Asked by Abc News, if there will be a special place on the ballot to mark the name of the party chairman, given the internal problems in the Democratic Party, Celibashi replied that the law provides for something like that.
“Yes, it is the provision of the law. The name of the head of the political party is written on the ballot paper”, Celibashi emphasized.
Among other things, he announced that currently, 21 political parties have submitted the request to register in the elections.
Regarding the electronic voting and counting, Celibashi underlined that the process is going well and added that procurement procedures for the equipment will be opened these days.
