Executive Director at Institute of Public Health, Albana Fico has confirmed today that a journalist is infected with COVID-19.
Fico stated that the journalist he is in good condition and that he is self-isolated at home. He is also being monitored by his family doctor.
She also stated that 21 children are infected of coronavirus but that no one has been hospitalized and half of them have been recovered.
From the police, Fico said that there are a total of 14 infected while 4 of them are in the accommodation structure of the Ministry of Defense.
While in Albania the number of infected pregnant women is 4, which 2 of them have been recovered.
The Ministry of Health stated today that 25 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of infected to 609 cases./abcnews.al
