Prime Minister Edi Rama is in Brussels today, at the discussion session about the historic EU-Western Balkan Summit which was held in Tirana yesterday, December 6. The acting Prime Minister of Montenegro was also present. the latter was not present at yesterday’s Summit in Tirana.

Dritan Abazovic said that Prime Minister Rama is the master of the event. According to him, it has more to do with the essence and it was good that many European leaders went to Tirana to give support to the Western Balkans.

“The EU needs to understand one simple thing, that it should remain attractive for those countries that want to join the EU. If the EU does not understand that it should keep the door open for the countries of the Western Balkans, I think that everyone will lose”, said Abazovic.

Yesterday’s meeting was quite successful and the agreements signed were very important.

“My message is, let’s all try together. It is not difficult to see what are the issues where we can have a voice and a demand. I congratulate Albania and MV for unblocking the EU process. I think they have waited a long time and decision-making by the EU should be more effective”, said Abazovic.
