Hearing against the MP of the Democratic Party (DP), Ervin Salianji has been postponed for the ninth time this Monday, while the next session will be held on March 7.

According to information, the reason for the postponement was the lawyer Ledjo Braho, who was in an activity in the city of Vlora, while today only the lawyer of Jetmir Olldashi was present.

Earlier on, Salianji was found guilty of the criminal offense of ‘false report’ in relation to the “Babale” case, where he was sentenced by the Court of First Instance to 1 year in prison.

With a guilty verdict that has weighed on him since 2019 and has not taken a definitive form, Salianji started the confrontation with the appeals prosecution that insists that he made a false report in the Babale file together with Fredi Alizoti, Albert Veliu and journalist Jetmir Olldashi.

The audio-interception published in May 2018 by the Democratic Party, in which it was hinted that the brother of the Minister of the Interior talked with Albert Veliu and agreed on drug trafficking, was described by the prosecution as fabricated.
