While June 30 is approaching, the date when the Special Parliamentary Commission for Electoral Reform expires, the co-chair of this commission, Damian Gjiknuri, has proposed for a meeting with the negotiating group of the Political Council for Electoral Reform.
Sources for Abc News confirms that in this meeting Gjiknuri asked the negotiating group to bring proposals in advance on any issue that remains pending with the aim that tomorrow along with the legal solution for the mechanism of selection of KQZ members to get the approval of the whole package of amendments to the Electoral Code.
Among other things, in his request, Gjiknuri has indicated that he would then allow the Parliamentary Commission for Electoral Reform to get advanced with internal procedures before the deadline.
Meanwhile, the meeting proposed by Gjiknuri, is expected to take place on Wednesday at 17: 00./abcnews.al
