The Court against Corruption (GJKKO) in Tirana postponed again this Wednesday the session on former Minister of Interior Affairs, Fatmir Mediu on ‘Gerdec’ file.
Meanwhile Mediu said for the media after this decision that everything he did when he was a minister, was to respect the law and for the country’s interest. He also said that he had waited 17 years for this case and now is ready to be asked about everything.
Earlier this year, Court asked to police to inform businessman Mihal Delijorgji and Dritan Minxolli to speak for this case.
The former minister of Defense, Fatmir Mediu is under accuse by the Special Prosecution for duty abuse on the tragedy of Gerdec on 2008, where from the explosion of the weapons dismantling workshop, 26 were killed and hundreds were injured.
