President Bajram Begaj is holding a press conference with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. During his speech he said that one of the points of discussion was the project for gasification in Albania.
He added that the investment for the construction of the network will start soon.
“Another point of discussion is the gasification project of Albania and a pilot project has been selected. Everything is going according to plan and at the end of the year we will have a visibility study regarding this and I think that after that we will immediately start investing in Albania to build a gas distribution network.
We also discussed how to expand our infrastructure from Albania to other neighboring countries. I am pleased that we have our embassy in Tirana, which was a decision made during my visit to Albania.
We have a strong political will to continue this relationship and all these agreements are being fulfilled. With this visit of Mr. President, where we have agreed on regular meetings and to see what has been done,” he said.
