According to the government’s decision, starting today, all citizens can get online any document they need, avoiding long queues and bureaucracies.
“On May 1, a new era of services without counters begins. Albania has entered the elite of the most developed countries for digital governance, and is among the first to offer document services through the national digital platform. “This is a historic station of the Digital Revolution where the ranks, the creeps and the tips of an era that has reached its last steps end”, Rama wrote on Facebook a few days ago.
According to an EBRD report, Albania has increased digital services from 44.1% in 2015 to 83% in 2020, climbing to 17th place among some countries in the world for digital government services.
