From January to October, Rinas Airport has processed a high number of passengers and tourists, thus becoming the largest entry-exit gate in Albania. According to the data in the last ten months, it turns out that 5.4 million passengers were processed in Rinas entering and exiting our country.
ABC News journalist Gerta Vasku says that even though it is October and the temperatures have dropped, there are many tourists who continue to come to our country.
“From January 1 to October 3, 5.4 million passengers were processed, who visited Rinasit Airport to enter and exit our country. These figures come at a time when our country has had a huge tourist boom this year.
What is noticeable in the Rinas terminal is that there is a high flow of passengers entering and leaving Albania”, reported the ABC News reporter from Rinas Airport.
Prime Minister Edi Rama said that if this tourist trend continues, it is predicted that by December the number of tourists who have entered Albania from all border points may reach 10 million.
