Four employees of the Korçë municipality have been suspended from duty and the personal security measure “Compulsion to appear before the judicial police” was assigned to them. Zhaneta Lubonja, Ermal Germani, Olvas Petro and Soniel Prifti have been investigated by the Korça prosecutor’s office for abuse of duty.
According to the prosecution, it is suspected that they have illegally favored certain entities and individuals with the purpose of individual gain, illegally calculating the infrastructure impact tax for new constructions and luxury complexes in some neighborhoods of the city to a greater extent low.
Zhaneta Lubonja, acting Director of the Directorate of Planning and Control of Territorial Development, in the municipality of Korçë, suspected of the criminal offense “Abuse of duty”; Ermal Germani, with the duty of Sector Manager at the Directorate of Planning and Control of Territorial Development, in the municipality of Korçë, suspected of the criminal offense “Abuse of duty”; Olvis Petro, with the position of Budget Specialist in this directorate, suspected of the criminal offense “Abuse of duty”; Sonjel Prifti, acting Director of the Directorate of Local Taxes and Tariffs in the municipality of Korçë, suspected of the criminal offense of “discipline of crime”.
