Former MP of Socialist Party (SP) Marko Bello has died at the age of 59 due to coronavirus.
Bello was infected with Covid while being treated in a hospital in Turkey.
Marko Bello, was born on September 12, 1961 and was a member of the Socialist Party in the Albanian Parliament. Bello has also held the post of Minister for European Integration and Minister of State for Government Coordination.
In the period 1997-2000, Marko Bello served as Albanian Ambassador to Romania and then Deputy Minister of Defense.
Marko Bello was also one of the founding members of the Council of Albanian Ambassadors./abcnews.al
