Session against Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha was interrupted for a few minutes this Monday, although the latter did not appear, but was represented by his two lawyers.
Prosecutor Arben Kraja did not appear and was replaced by prosecutor Doloreza Musabelliu, but the reason why Kraja made this decision is not yet known.
Meanwhile, the lawyers of Berisha and his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, have asked for the security measures to be lifted.
As for Berisha’s appearance at 10:00, he has refused, breaking a court decision, as he must appear on the first and third Monday of every month before the Judicial Officer.
On his part, businessman Fatmir Bekteshi appeared at the Special Prosecutor’s office at 11 o’clock today.
