Former President of the Republic, Bujar Nishani, dies this morning, a month after being hospitalized in serious condition in a hospital in Germany. The former head of state’s health situation worsened after he was infected with COVID-19 two months ago.
He was suffering from an autoimmune disease of the liver because of Covid. As reported by Abcnews.al, Nishani was hospitalized with signs of pneumonia in both lungs due to coronavirus.
On April 22, Nishani traveled for Germany for treatment.
