The hearing against former Defense Minister Fatmir Mediu has been postponed for the third time. The reason is the lack of lawyers. The latter have filed a request for the postponement of the session.

Today, Judge Irena Gjoka has decided that in case the lawyers will not appear again, she has appointed the lawyer Artan Simoni who will be present on June 7 when the Special Prosecutor’s Office will read the claim against Mediu.
Another request was from the families of the victims who asked to be part of the process. For this, the Special Prosecutor’s Office must first state whether they will become part of this process or not.
On June 7, the Special Prosecutor’s Office is expected to read the claim for the former Minister of Defense as a defendant for two charges.
