DP MPs have submitted a request to appeal the decision on their expulsion. The request has been sent to the Assembly and the Guard. According to them, based on the regulation, they can enter the Assembly until the conference is convened to consider it. Yesterday, the Ethics Commission expelled Sali Berisha, Flamur Noka, Belind Këllič and Edi Paloka.
The last two were sentenced to five days each not to participate in the session, while Berisha and Noka were sentenced to ten days. This measure comes after the chaos and noise they created in the last parliamentary session. We recall here that Flamur Noka tried to stop the Socialist Party MPs from speaking by blowing the whistle and despite the appeal of the Speaker Lindita Nikolla, the former Minister of the Interior did not withdraw from the noisy actions.
This repeated act forced the Speaker of the Parliament to communicate to Noka the exclusion from the plenary session. All these episodes and the created noises caused Monday’s session to end quickly as the protest called by Sali Berisha took place outside the Parliament. This is not the first time that Sali Berisha and other MPs from the opposition have been expelled from the Assembly for unethical behavior and blocking work.
