Minister for Foreign Europe, Igli Hasani, underlined this Thursday the achievements of Albanian diplomacy for 2023 and the priorities for the next year. In a press conference, he said that they expect good news at the beginning of 2024 as far as negotiations with the EU are concerned.
Furthermore, the Albanian chief diplomat said that at the beginning of 2024, our country expects good news regarding negotiations with the European Union.
“Albanian diplomacy in 2023, an unprecedented period of achievements and successes. In the last three years, Albania played a leading role in the highest forums of international politics.
The SC mandate was given to us at a difficult time for international politics. However, we managed to have a dignified and respected performance.
In 2023, we had significant progress in the European integration process. Albania’s work in this direction has been evaluated as a model of success for the entire region.
Albania is today ready for the Second Intergovernmental Conference. Negotiations with the EU, we expect good news at the beginning of 2024”, asserted Hasani.
