The Central Election Commission in a statement to the media has published the data after verifications in the use of technology in the April 25 elections, or as it is otherwise known electronic voting.
Chief Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi stated that from the recount it was identified that in 71% of polling stations there is no difference greater than 10 votes and only 1% with a difference of votes with over 30 votes.
Meanwhile, Celibashi, among other things, added that there were 1006 suspicious cases for voting twice or more in the polling stations. 20 people who according to Celibashi are suspected of being commissioners have voted twice in different polling stations.
“1.6 million voters were identified by PEI, 97.19% of voters in 5023 polling stations out of 5199 in total. Only 2.8% of voters did not have their fingerprints identified.
“There are 1006 suspicious cases, which does not mean that they are persons, but they are fingerprints that more than once are suspected to be the same. Of these we have the same identity of 20 voters. It is suspected that they voted in two different polling stations. These are commissioners who have voted twice. That remains to be seen. ”
“There are 224 fingerprints that have been scanned twice. So when a certain person has placed the finger, that person has another ID card reading and has scanned it again. There are 44 signs that have been scanned more than two ID cards read. ”
“40 VCs have a difference of up to 20 votes plus or minus. We have verified the ballots for each candidate and the number on the table for each candidate. For 19 VCs the difference is over 20 votes. ”
“71% of VCs did not have a difference. Meanwhile 28% have a difference of 1 to 9 votes, plus minus, ie either given more or removed. 1% had a margin of 10-30 votes. And zero VCs so that the difference is over 30 votes. ” tha Celibashi. /abcnews.al
